Edward Abraham

In addition to investing with Ninety5Health, Ed is a Partner with Guidehouse, the second largest healthcare consulting group in the U.S, where he leads the academic medicine practice. He has an exceptional track record of success and innovation in leading and transforming academic medical centers, including strategy, health care delivery, finances, research and educational programs.

Most recently led the University of Miami Health System, an academic medical center with more than $2.5billion/year in revenues, 1300 physicians, and over 10,000 employees, to its two best years of financial performance as well as to its highest levels of inpatient and ambulatory volumes, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Raj Aggarwal

In addition to investing with Ninety5Health, Raj is an active advisor to digital health companies, venture studios and venture capital firms. Over the past 25 years, Raj has excelled as a physician entrepreneur in areas of education, innovation, patient safety and service quality, to transform clinical care delivery across complex academic and community health systems. 

He possesses clinical, scientific and technological expertise with healthcare innovations, encompassing digital applications and health IT platforms, virtual and augmented reality solutions, medical devices, interventional robotics, and advanced analytics. 

Raj has experience leading venture, strategic, research and commercial partnership deals with health care delivery systems, to achieve significant, shared, and sustained impact.

Further, Raj is an acclaimed laparoscopic GI surgeon with over 6,000 operative cases, PhD scientist and mentor with $17M+ in grant funding, 270 peer-reviewed articles and 16,000+ citations, having supervised over 60 graduate students. Raj is above all an innovator with a distributed and inclusive leadership style, driven by creativity and vision, to collaborate across disciplines and structures.

 

Rivka Gross

In addition to investing at Ninety5Health, Rivka advises startups and venture funds on Revenue Cycle, payer-provider relationships, and the administrative infrastructure of the US healthcare system.

She currently serves as CEO of Mobella Health, a computer vision startup working to reduce documentation burden for nurses. Prior to Mobella, she held VP and SVP roles at Optum, the technology and services arm of United Healthcare.

Rivka spent 9 years advising health system CFO’s on business transformation and technology investment strategy for administrative tech, and is passionate about improving the patient experience and reducing the administrative burden in healthcare.

When she’s not working, she is reading post-apocalyptic fiction and actively avoiding the gym.

 

Jacob Jesson 

In addition to investing at Ninety5Health, Jacob is Chief Revenue and Chief Experience Officer at Medecision, a subsidiary of HCSC where he leads sales, marketing, partnerships, consulting, customer success, and implementations. An advisor to multiple healthcare organizations, he is also President of HCS, a healthcare commercialization and strategy consultancy.

Jacob’s previous roles include SVP Growth and Consulting, Global Head of Healthcare, and Chief Strategy Officer for organizations including EPAM Systems and CitiusTech. He brings over 27 years of experience helping organizations set and deliver value-producing strategies through the effective alignment of technology, operations, market position, business development, delivery, and consulting.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Portuguese and History from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has extended studies in International Management at The Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Zach Markin

In addition to investing at Ninety5Health, Zach is the Chief Executive Officer at HTD Health, a global technology consultancy serving the healthcare community focused on virtual care, enterprise cloud services, next-generation care infrastructure, and software as medical device.

Trained as a chemical engineer, Zach is a serial entrepreneur and former software engineer where he worked in the consumer tech space building data infrastructure and integration services.

Zach holds a BSE from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time with his wife, reading, and traveling.

Bhavdeep Singh 

Bhavdeep Singh is a Managing Partner at Whitehawk Associates LLC, an independent management consultancy, specializing in Healthcare, Retail, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Leadership Development.

Bhavdeep Singh is also Chairman and Co-Founder of HealthQuarters, a new destination for curated and clinically-backed health and wellness services in New York City.

Over the past 15-20 years, Bhavdeep Singh has built a strong reputation for leadership and innovation in multiple roles around the world. As CEO of Fortis Healthcare, where he served as Chief Executive Officer on two different occasions (2009 to 2011 and then from 2015 to 2019), he and the Fortis Leadership team focused on driving patient care and clinical excellence. 

Fortis is one of the top hospital systems in the world with a network of more than 30 hospitals across Asia.

Prior to joining Fortis for his second stint, Singh was Head of US Operations at Ahold, a $26 billion retailer with a very strong retail presence around the world. In this role, Bhavdeep had complete P&L oversight for 800 stores and 110,000 employees. He was with the company for almost five years and served on the company’s executive board. Prior to his role as Head of US Operations, Bhavdeep was Executive Vice President of Human Resources where he had full oversight of HR and Labor Relations for the company.

In an earlier retail role, Mr. Singh was the CEO at Reliance Retail in India and was at the helm when Reliance opened more than 700 new stores in less than two years.

Singh has attended Pace University and completed several certified courses in Leadership and Executive Management from premier institutions such as the Harvard Business School, Cornell University, University of Hartford, Dial Institute of Management, and St. Joe’s University in the United States.

Tal Wenderow

In addition to investing with Ninety5Health, Tal currently serves as a Venture Partner at Genesis Medtech, a global medical device company, where he is leading Genesis’ M&A and Investments activities, and a member of the Board of Directors of Microbot Medical Inc. [NASDAQ: MBOT]. Prior to this, Tal served as CEO of Vocalis Health, digital health company, and co-founded Corindus Vascular Robotics [NYSE:CVRS], acquired by Siemens Healthineers in 2019.

In his last position he served as the Executive Vice President of International & Business Development responsible for global sales and business partnerships of Corindus.

Tal’s areas of focus include Medtech, digital health, robotics, and AI. When he’s not working Tal enjoys spending time with the family, playing basketball and traveling.

Mike West

In addition to investing with Ninety5Health, Mike currently serves as an advisor and/or Board Member to 8 early-stage companies in the healthcare and healthcare technology/digital health sectors. Prior to Advisory/Board roles, Mike served 22 years as CEO of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute (ROI), one of the largest musculoskeletal groups in the United States. Areas of focus included strategic growth strategies, financial and operational management and development of ancillary revenue generating services.

Prior to ROI, Mike held SVP at Specialty Care Network, a public Orthopaedic Physician Practice Management company. He also held senior level positions in other healthcare companies in the non-profit and private practice space.

Mike started his career in public accounting with KPMG (formerly known as Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co.), as a CPA with a focus on healthcare and commercial real estate.

When he is not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing golf, boating and traveling.
